There are many individuals and families in need that are seeking a residence, however, zoning restrictions can act as barriers to fulfiling the demand for housing” stated Representative Kymberly Pine (R-Ewa Beach) who represents one of the fastest growing districts in Hawaii. “The team brought here today gave us an outline for making Kakaako an affordable housing destination. The good news is that no agricultural lands have to be sacrificed to make the zoning changes,” added Pine.
